Biography

Pronunciation: BRAY-lun

2017: Played in all 11 games. Caught 10 passes for 142 yards and one touchdown. His longest catch of the season went for 49 yards. He had two rushes for four yards and five punt returns for seven yards. He was named to the SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a 3.0 GPA. 

2016: Played in seven games as a junior. He caught 12 passes for 146 yards, averaging 12.2 yards per catch. His longest grab was a 25-yarder. His 20.9 average catch per game was the fourth-highest on the team. He caught the lone two-point conversion pass for the team. He was named to the SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2015 (Sophomore):  McCollum officially made the move from quarterback to wide receiver and played in three games at his new position.  He attempted two passes on trick plays with one going for -1 yards and the other was intercepted.

2014 (Freshman):  McCollum entered the season as the #3 quarterback on the roster, but quickly earned a few starts after Trent Brittain went down with a season-ending injury.  He led the team to a victory over Houston Baptist when he went 16-of-22 for 162 yards and a touchdown in his best performance of the season.  He completed just over 50 percent of his passes for the season and showed good mobility within the pocket.

2013:  McCollum red-shirted his first year at Incarnate Word.

High School:  McCollum was a three-year letterwinner at Cibolo Steele High School.  He was named the district offensive MVP and earned Second Team All-Area honors while leading the team to a State semifinal spot.  He was part of a State championship team in 2010 and State Runner-Up in 2011. 

Personal:  McCollum is the son of Brent McCollum and Chajuann and Tim Littlefield and is studying business administration.  His father played football at BYU.  He was born on January 10, 1995.
