Southland Conference Second Team

2014 (Junior):  Douglas was a team captain and earned Southland Conference honorable mention honors.  He was one of the Southland Conference leaders in pass breakups with 10, including three at Nicholls.  He had six tackles in back-to-back games at Stephen F. Austin and North Dakota State.  He recorded a season high nine tackles against Southeastern Louisiana.  He recovered a fumble and broke up two passes in a win against Houston Baptist.  He returned three kicks for 58 yards in the season finale at Lamar. 

2013 (Sophomore):  Douglas started all 11 games at cornerback and became a big play guy as the season progressed.  He also returned kicks for UIW.  He had a season high eight tackles and broke up a pass in a loss at #6 Central Arkansas to open the season.  He recorded seven tackles and forced a fumble in a win over Eastern New Mexico.  He was named a College Football Performance Awards Honorable Mention defensive back on Nov. 12 for his two-interception performance in a win over Abilene Christian.  The first interception prevented a touchdown and the second one set up a touchdown in a 34-31 win.  He had four tackles and picked off his team-high third pass of the season the following week in a loss to Angelo State.  He finished the year with 33 tackles and four pass breakups.  He averaged 22.3 yards per kick return and finished the year with 300 all-purpose yards.  He was named College Sports Madness All-Independent Second Team as a defensive back.

2012 (Freshman):  Douglas was a solid contributor on defense as a backup at safety and corner back.  He had at least one tackle in nine of 10 games he played.  He had four tackles at Sam Houston State.  He finished with four tackles and a tackle for loss against Tarleton State.  He record 19 total tackles for the season.

Previous:  Douglas red-shirted his one year at Louisiana-Lafeyette.

High School:  Douglas played football at Plano High School.

Personal:  Douglas is the son of Lance and Melanie Douglas and is studying business administration.  He has two siblings, Lance and Mykle.  He was born on February 23, 1993.  He volunteers with Xtreme Speed.
