2013 (Junior): Watkins played in 16 of 19 games in the season and continued to impact both the defense and offense by scoring a total four goals. She had a pair of great performances early in the season, scoring in both a 7-1 win against Texas Southern and a 6-1 win against UT-Permian Basin.  She tallied goals in conference victories at Nicholls State and at home against Northwestern State.  The left winger played an end-to-end style that contributed to the team's strong first season in Division I.

2012 (Sophomore): Watkins started 17 of 18 games on the season. She began the year taking a more defensive approach, but became more aggressive offensively as the season progressed. She picked up an assist in the team's 3-2 loss against Metro State and added another assist in a 4-1 win at Texas A&M-Commerce. She converted a penalty kick in the team's shoot-out victory over Angelo State in the LSC semifinals. She was named to the LSC All-Tournament Team.

2011 (Freshman): Watkins appeared in every game and made 14 starts in her freshman season. She was aggressive on the offensive end as well as the defensive taking 17 shots on the season. She scored her first career goal in a loss at Eastern New Mexico. She assisted on a late game-tying goal at #12 Abilene Christian in a 1-1 tie.

High School: Watkins played for four years Brandeis High School. She earned All-City honors during her junior and senior seasons and was a first team all-district performer in three of her four years. She also played volleyball and track.

Personal: Watkins is the daughter of Tommy and Michele Watkins and is studying athletic training. She has a sister, Melanie, and a brother, Curtis, and she was born on January 4, 1993. She has worked as a medical volunteer for the San Antonio Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.
