2014 (Junior):  Decker made 24 relief appearances for the Cardinals and picked up a save as the main lefty out of the bullpen.  During the middle of the season he put together a string where he held opponents scoreless in 8-of-10 games.  He picked up his first career win after tossing 3.2 scoreless innings of relief against Gonzaga.  He appeared in three consecutive games at Southeastern Louisiana allowing one hit and no runs while striking out three in 2.1 innings.  After allowing two home runs in his first career appearance he allowed just one more the rest of the season. 

Previous:  Decker played two years of baseball at New Mexico Junior College for head coach Josh Simpson.

High School:  Decker was on the baseball team at Lake Dallas High School.

Personal:  Decker is the son of John and Geralyn Decker and is studying cultural studies.  He has a brother, Brian.  He was born on July 21, 1992.
