Biography

2014 (Freshman):  Jones made 13 appearances, including one start as a true freshman.  He made nine scoreless relief appearances including two against Nicholls.  He had a string of four consecutive scoreless relief appearances from April 18-25.

High School:  Jones played baseball at Hallettsville High School where he was a Second Team All-State pitcher in his junior year and First Team All-State pitcher in his senior year.  After making the playoffs in his sophomore, junior and senior years his team won the 2013 2A State Championships. He was also on the Honor Roll.

Personal:  Jones is the son of Carla and David Jones and has two siblings, Casey and Lauren.  He is studying business administration and was born on March 10, 1995.
