University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013 (Freshman):  Alonzo appeared in three games as a pinch runner or defensive replacement.  He scored a run and had his only at bat of the season against UH-Victoria.

2012:  Alonzo red-shirted his first year at Incarnate Word.

High School:  Alonzo was on the football and baseball teams at Theodore Roosevelt High School.  He was a three-time all-district selection in baseball and earned all-district honors in football as a senior.  He was on a pair of football playoff teams.  He earned the Roosevelt Leadership Award and was the Old Spice Football Player of the Year as a senior.

Personal:  Alonzo is the son of Mike and Sandy Alonzo and is studying sports management.  He has five siblings; Chris, Neil, Aaron, Krystal and Adrian.  Aaron played football at Hardin-Simmons and Krystal played softball at Missouri Valley.  He was born on June 10, 1992.
