2012-13 (Junior):  Horton started 25 of the team's 28 games.  He scored in double figures in 10 games and reached 20 points in three games.  He had 22 points in a win at St. Edward's.  He poured in 23 points and went 8-for-10 from the field in a win over Tarleton State.  His final 20-point performance came in a 100-83 win over Angelo State.  Contributed 10 points and nine rebounds in a win over Texas A&M-International.  He finished the season averaging 8.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while shooting 79.4 percent from the foul line.

Previous:   Horton averaged 3.5 points and 1.7 rebounds in 21 games off the bench (9.0 minutes/game) while shooting 33 percent (11-33) from 3-point range and 43 percent overall as a freshman at Campbell.  As a sophomore, he averaged 3.3 points and 1.2 rebounds per game in 31 games.

High School:  As a senior, Horton led Clear Springs to the Texas 5-A state playoffs for the second straight year, while averaging 17.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.  He shot 52 percent from the floor, 35 percent from 3-point range and 64 percent from the line while earning first-team all-district and all-county, plus team MVP honors.  He participated in the Houston Area Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game and was the East team’s leading scorer.  He was rated the 29th-best player in the Houston area by RCSSports.com.  He was a first team all-district and all-county choice as a junior when we averaged 16.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and shot 55 percent from the floor and 75 percent from the line.

Personal:  Horton is the son of Jim and Shannah Horton and is studying international business.  He has two sisters, Jennifer and Melody.  His father played basketball at West Virginia Wesleyan.  He was born on December 3, 1991 in Pittsburgh, PA.
