2013 (Sophomore):  Campbell was back in the lineup at inside linebacker after missing most of the 2012 season.  He played in all 11 games and started three times.  He had five tackles, including two tackles for loss in a shutout win over Langston.  He contributed four tackles in a win over Eastern New Mexico and five in a loss at Southeastern Louisiana.  He notched his first career sack in a loss at Abilene Christian.  He recorded at least one tackle in every game and finished the year with 33 stops and 3.0 tackles for loss.

2012 (Red-Shirt):  Campbell only played in one game during the season and had a tackle at Sam Houston State.  He received a medical red-shirt for the season.

2011 (Freshman):  Campbell was a backup linebacker for the Cardinals.  He had a huge game at Lamar racking up 10 tackles and 3.0 tackles for loss.  He finished the year with 15 tackles.

High School:  Campbell played at Brandeis High School for his father, John.  He was the District 27-5A Defensive MVP as a senior.  He had 117 tackles, eight tackles for loss, three sacks and forced four fumbles that year.  He was named to the Express-News All-Area First Team.

Personal:  Campbell is the son of John and Mirella Campbell and is studying kinesiology and education.  He has a sister, Kimberly, and was born on May 15, 1992.
