2012 (Junior):  Pena started at both second and third base throughout the season playing a total of 32 games.  He finished the season hitting .320 and reached base in each of his last 13 games played.  He went 4-for-5 with two runs and two RBI's against Abilene Christian on Mar. 16.  He had three hits and was hit by a pitch against Tarleton State on Apr. 6.  He cracked his only home run of the year against Abilene Christian on Mar. 18.  He hit safely in all four game at Texas A&M-Kingsville going 7-for-12 with six RBI's.

Previous:  Pena played two seasons at San Jacinto College.  He helped lead them to the Junior College World Series and was an NJCAA All-American.

High School:  Pena played baseball and football at Mission High School.  He was a two-time All-State second baseman.

Personal:  Pena is the son of Robert and Elena Pena and is studying kinesiology.  He has a sister, Analea.
