University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2011 (Freshman):  Schaetter came off the bench in her first year with the Cardinals.  She showed the ability to be a strong defensive player in the middle with 14 blocks in only 20 sets.  She got the start against Oklahoma Panhandle State and had eight kills and a pair of blocks in a win.  She came back with seven kills and four blocks in a win over Midwestern State. 

High School:  Schaetter played a number of sports at Fredericksburg High School.  She earned honorable mention all-district honors as a sophomore and then grabbed first team honors as a junior and senior.  During her senior season she took home an all-state citation. 

Personal:  Schaetter is the daughter of Bryon and Rhonda Schaetter and is studying fashion merchandising.  She has two siblings, Bartley and Brianna.  She was born on September 3, 1992.
