Biography

2011 (Freshman):  Lind had a strong freshman season racking up 171 kills and 216 digs.  She posted a double-double with 12 kills, 15 digs and a .220 attack in a four-set win over New Mexico Highlands.  She pounded out 15 kills and had 10 digs in a five-set victory over Texas Woman’s.  She had at least 10 digs in 12 matches and reached double figures in kills in six matches.  She finished the season with five double-doubles including an 11-kill, 12-dig, 6-block performance in a five set loss at Texas Woman’s.  She was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School:  Lind played on the volleyball, basketball and track teams at Lindale High School.  She was a four-time first team all-district outside hitter and twice was named first team all-region.  She won her district’s most valuable hitter award, offensive player of the year award and most valuable player award in her career. 

Personal:  Lind is the daughter of Denny and Denise Lind and is studying nursing.  She has a brother, Connor, and was born on May 24, 1993.  Her mother played volleyball at UW-River Falls and her father played basketball at UW-River Falls.
