2012 (Junior):  Nunez led the Lone Star Conference and was seventh in the nation with a punting average of 42.8 yards per kick.  He earned LSC Honorable Mention honors.  He averaged at least 40 yards per punt in eight of 10 games.  He set a school record with nine punts for 401 yards at Sam Houston State.  He had three punts of at least 50 yards in that game.  He pinned the opponent inside the 20-yard line on 13 of 40 punts for the year.  He boomed a season long 65-yard punt at Angelo State.  He took over kickoff duties for the final four games of the season averaging 58.6 yards per kickoff with three touchbacks.

2011 (Sophomore):  Nunez appeared in five games making 24 punts for an average of 32.0 yards.  He he a 59-yard punt and averaged 47.5 yards per punt against Texas A&M-Kingsville.  He induced four fair catch calls at Abilene Christian.  He had two punts end inside the 20-yard line.

High School:  Nunez was the punter at Seguin High School in Dallas.

Personal:  Nunez is studying business management and was born on August 25, 1990.
