University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2012 (Sophomore):  Walls started 41 games in the outfield and earned Second Team All-Lone Star Conference honors.  He led the team with 36 runs scored, 27 walks and 16 stolen bases.  He was named the LSC Offensive Player of the Week on April 10 following a week in which he went 10-for-21 at the plate with six runs, six RBI's, two doubles and a triple.  He drove in three runs against UH-Victoria on Feb. 24 and came back with three steals against the Jaguars the very next day.  He was 4-for-6 with two runs, three RBI's, a double and a triple against Tarleton State on Apr. 6. He went 3-for-4 with two runs and two stolen bases against West Texas A&M on Apr. 21.  He went 3-for-4 with three runs and a triple in the final regular season game of the year against Texas A&M-Kingsville.

2011 (Freshman):  Walls hit .313 with a .407 on-base percentage and scored 51 runs en route to earning LSC Freshman of the year honors.  He played in all 55 games and had 23 multi-hit games.  He drove in a season high four runs against Angelo State on Feb. 11.  He had a string of four consecutive games with at least two hits in two games against Northeastern State and two games at Central Oklahoma.  He was 3-for-3 with three RBI's and a triple against Eastern New Mexico on  Mar. 11.  He smacked his first career homer at West Texas A&M on Mar. 19.  He was 3-for-5 with four runs scored and two RBI's against Cameron on Mar. 26.  Three times during the year he had a double and a triple in the same game.

High School:  Walls played baseball and football at Reagan High School.

Personal:  Walls is the son of Dwayne and Diana Walls and is studying business management.  He has a brother, Dustin, who was an All-American for the Cardinals.  His father played football at Baylor.  He was born on April 26, 1991.
