2019: Played in 11 games at Florida International University after being cleared eligible following transfer from Kentucky... Started in final four games of the season... Earned 22 tackles on the year to rank sixth among defensive linemen... Collected 4.0 tackles-for-loss and 2.5 sacks on the year... His 2.5 sacks ranked second on the team... Also hurried the QB five times and recovered a fumble to round out the stat sheet... Collected a sack against UMass (10/5) and ODU (11/2)... Earned career-high eight tackles against Marshall (11/30), while also picking up a half sack.

Scouts listed him as the 12th-best defensive end out of the state of Florida... ESPN ranked him the 213th-best prospect in Florida and the 106th-best defensive end in the class of 2017... Helped Chaminade-Madonna to a 10-5 overall record and an appearance in the Class 3A state championship game... Compiled 77 tackles, 10.5 sacks, 22 tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries during his senior campaign... Picked Kentucky over offers from Central Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Notre Dame, and Georgia.
