SAN ANTONIO - For the second time in three games, the University of the incarnate Word women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw, this time doing so against Abilene Christian Sunday.
The Cardinals were able to double the Wildcats in shots on-goal (6-3), but couldn't get one past ACU kicker Bella Medrano. Scoring has been difficult as of late, as UIW has just three goals in its last six games, going 0-4-2 in the process.

Hannah Alexander and her defenders pitched a fourth shutout of the season as Incarnate Word (3-4-2) now turns its attention to the start of Southland Conference play.
The Cardinals open the SLC slate at home against East Texas A&M on Thursday at 7 p.m.
