Box Score SAN ANTONIO, TX – The University of the Incarnate Word men's tennis team extended its win streak to six games with a 5-2 victory over the University of Texas Arlington on Friday morning at the Mabry Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Doubles play opened with a point for Incarnate Word as the tandem of freshman Santiago Flyckt and sophomore Marcel Miralles won 6-4 at No. 1, followed by an identical 6-4 victory at No. 2 from sophomore Alejandro Hernandez and grad student Emilio Vila.
• In singles play, UTA collected wins at Nos. 1 and 3, but the Cardinals were victorious in four matches to claim the win.
• Vila was a 6-3, 6-0 winner at No. 2, while freshman Ian Uraga won 6-3, 6-3 in the No. 5 spot.
• At No. 4, Flyckt went the distance in a 6-4, 2-6, 10-8 triumph, and sophomore Alexandre Chauvel won by default at No. 6.
