The Incarnate Word men's tennis team fell to No. 36 Arkansas, 4-0, in Austin, TX Sunday evening.

The Cardinals battled during the doubles session, but the Razorbacks would take the doubles point to go up 1-0. Santiago Flyckt and Marcel Moralles suffered a late break to fall 7-5 in their match, followed by Alexandre Chauvel and Alejandro Hernandez losing 6-3 to end doubles play.

Once in singles, Incarnate Word saw the match come to an end with losses by Geraldo Delgado, Emilio Vila, and Christian Cuellar. Delgado dropped his match, 1-6, 1-6. Vila went shot-for-shot with the 18th-ranked singles player, Jakub Vrba, but he would fall 4-6, 3-6. Cuellar was on serve in the second set, looking to extend his match into a third set, but he too would fall in straight sets, 0-6, 4-6, to bring the match to an end.

Incarnate Word returns home to take on Southland foe UT Rio Grande Valley tomorrow, March 30th. The match starts at 2:00 p.m.
