STEPHENVILLE, TX – The University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss at the hands of host Tarleton State University on Sunday morning at the Tarleton State Tennis Facility.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Tarleton State went ahead 1-0 early in the match after winning two-of-three matches in doubles play.
• Incarnate Word's No. 1 doubles tandem of senior Iné Lamprecht and freshman Amelia Alejandra Perez Corona teamed together for a 6-2 in doubles action.
• The Texans put the match away with six wins in singles play, all in straight sets.
• Senior Amelie Montalvo put up a fight at No. 4 despite a 6-2, 6-4 loss.
