SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team is set to host East Texas A&M at the McDermott Center. Tipoff for Thursday is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

• The Cardinals enter the week 6-8 overall and 4-3 in Southland Conference play after dropping two road conference games last week. 

• Brynn Lusby paces the Cardinals offensive, averaging 9.5 points per game. Jorja Elliott leads the team in both blocks and steals.  

• Raimi McCrary, the Cardinals' top rebounder last season, anchors the paint this year, leading the team with 8.2 rebounds per game. McCrary is also second on the team in points scored averaging 9.5 per game.

 Scouting the Lions 

• ETAMU enters Thursday's matchup with a 7–7 overall record and a 3–4 mark in Southland Conference play. 

• Tiana Ellison leads the Lions in scoring with 13.4 points per game, she also leads the team in rebounds, and blocks. 

• Cora Horvath facilitates the offense, averaging 3.6 assists per game.
