SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team hits the road to Commerce on Sunday for a 1 p.m. CT kickoff against East Texas A&M. UIW enters at 3-3-2 (1-0-1 SLC) after a conference-opening win over Nicholls and a draw with Lamar.

• Junior Alex Knutson and freshman Atiana Lara pace the Red and Black attack, each tallying three goals and six points on the season. 

• On the defensive end, Taylor Kish has been a steady presence, logging 686 of 720 possible minutes while also contributing a goal and an assist. 

• In goal, Hannah Alexander has anchored the back line with 33 saves, playing every minute of UIW's eight matches. 

• The Cardinals enter the week with a 3-3-2 overall record (1-0-1 SLC) following a conference-opening win over Nicholls and a hard-fought draw against Lamar. 

Scouting the Lions 

• Last week in the conference opener at Lamar, the Lions came from behind to score two goals in less than two minutes to earn a draw against a team that won two of the last three conference titles.  

• Following a two-goal performance at Lamar, Lawless-Felarca was named the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. 

• The Lions enter the week with a 3-5-1 overall record (0-0-1 SLC) following a conference-opening tie at Lamar.
