SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team will host Nicholls on Thursday at Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium at 7 p.m. The Cardinals will then host Lamar on Sunday, with kickoff set for 1 p.m.

• Junior, Alex Knutson leads the Red and Black in goals (3) and points (6). She has scored in both of UIW's wins this season.  

• Taylor Kish leads the Cardinal defense in minutes, playing 529 of 540 possible minutes. Kish has also contributed one goal and one assist so far this season. 

• Hannah Alexander has recorded 29 saves playing every minute of UIW's six matches in goal.  

• The Cardinals enter the week 2-3-1 after taking the week off last week.   

Scouting the Colonels 

• The Colonels enter the week 3-4-1 after tying Jackson State and beating Alabama State.  

• Avery Mondoux leads the Colonels with nine points. She also leads the team in goals (4) and is tied for the lead in assists (1).  

• Aislinn Wright has recorded 29 saves in eight starts for the Colonels. 

Scouting Lamar 

• Lamar enters the week 3-4-1 after defeating Texas A&M-San Antonio last week. 

• Lauren Smith is the team's leader in points, with 14 on the year. Smith also leads the team in goals (6).  

• Elouise Bywater has recorded 25 saves in eight starts for Lamar.
