SAN ANTONIO - The University of Incarnate Word men's soccer team travels out of state to Pittsburgh, PA, to compete against the University of Pittsburgh tonight at 7:00 p.m.

The Cardinals are undefeated in the first half of September, defeating Our Lady of the Lake, Southern Methodist University (SMU), and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV).

In three games, UIW has outscored its opponents 6-2 with 21 shots on target.

The Red and Black defense held it down against SMU, allowing one goal to their 22 total shot attempts in the 90 minutes played.
	 
 
Scouting the Panthers

Hosting the Cardinals, Pittsburgh's record sits at 3-3 heading into tonight's match. They are 3-1 defending their home field.

Attacking midfielder Arnau Vilamitjana leads the Panthers in shot attempts (13), assists (3), and goals (3) this season. Originally from Girona, Spain, he's a product of the FC Barcelona Academy, who also played with CE Europa in Spain's fourth division, Primera Federación.
	 
 
Players to Watch

UIW sophomore Giovanni Padilla leads the Cardinals in assists with three on the season. He helped set up midfielder Noe Robles to score the game-winning goal with less than four minutes left against SMU last week.

Robles is tied with Diego Robles for two goals this season, both lead the team.
	 
	- 
	
Goalkeeper Alejandro De La Torre continues to defend the nest with 16 saves in September.
