SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team returns to the nest for a matchup with Texas Lutheran at 2 p.m. CT on Wednesday afternoon. While there are still a few non-conference games to be played the Cardinals are set to take on their first SLC opponent of the season in McNeese next Monday.

- The Cardinals split games at the Geico Boardwalk Battle in Daytona last week. Beating Southern Indiana 87-81 and falling to High Point 80-91.
- Davion Bailey averaged 27.5 points per game, knocked down nine 3-pointers, and shot nearly 50 percent from the field in the tournament to earning a spot on the All-Tournament team and named Southland Conference Player of the Week.
- Bailey scored his 2,000th career points over the weekend, and Tahj Staveskie is now less than 50 points away from breaking the 1k mark in his collegiate career.

- Semaj Edwards averaged 25.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.0 assist in the two wins and was named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Offensive Player of the Week.
