SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word football team will be back in action on Saturday, October 4 at 6 p.m. CT, taking on the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks in Benson Stadium.

- The Lumberjacks have the best redzone defense in the SLC only allowing opponents to convert on 66.7 percent of the time when inside the 20.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
- Linebacker Declan Williams earned Southland Conference Player of the Week honors after racking up eight tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack and an interception that he took back for a touchdown.
- Freshman EJ Colson third quarterback in UIW history to pass and rush for over 100 yards in a single game. He is second best completion percentage (69.2%) and has the second-best passing efficiency (150.1). His 177 yards on the ground is top-10 in the SLC.
- Bary Dillion has four pass breakups and an interception in five games, which is tied for second in the SLC.
