SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team hits the road for its lone match of the week, traveling to Houston to face the Houston Christian Huskies. Kickoff is slated for 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

• Junior Alex Knutson and freshman Atiana Lara pace the Red and Black attack, each tallying three goals and six points on the season. 

• On the defensive end, Taylor Kish has been a steady presence, logging 776 of 990 possible minutes while also contributing a goal and an assist. 

• In goal, Hannah Alexander has anchored the back line with 47 saves, playing every minute of UIW's 11 matches. 

• UIW is 4-4-3 overall and 2-1-2 in league play. The Cardinals sit in fourth place in league standings. 

Scouting the Huskies 

• HCU (6-6-2, 1-2-2 SLC) played to a 1-1 draw this past Thursday, Oct. 9, in Thibodaux, La. Freshman defender Katya Alexis scored her first career goal with a header in the draw. 

• Olivia Rossman leads the Huskies with seven points, thanks to two goals and three assists, while Isabella Dillow sits at six points on three goals. 

• HCU sits in ninth place in the Southland Conference standings.
