SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team is traveling to face off against the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros on Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. CT.

- This is the second of back-to-back road games for the Cardinals and the first of three this month.
- UIW has faced off against the Vaqueros 17 times in school history. The Cards will look to pick up their first win of the season and over UTRGV since 2021.
- Peleg Armendariz and Miles Merritt have made their presence felt on the field playing all but 15 minutes for the Cardinals this season.
SCOUTING THE VAQUEROS
- UTRGV has been dominant in their first couple of games scoring a combined eight goals in two contests.
- This will be the Vaqueros second consecutive game against a San Antonio opponent after taking in Texas A&M – San Antonio.
- Seven different players have scored for UTRGV this season, they are led by Keaviano Francis who has two.
