SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team is set to start their season this Thursday, August 22, at 7 p.m. in Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium against Indiana University Indianapolis. The Cards will be in action again later this week with their second game of the season against Gardner-Webb.

Scouting the Jags
- Two players to watch are Brady Horn and Jago Thompson-Roberts who made a combined 33 starts while playing 2998 combined minutes in 2023.
- The Jags have 14 new players including six new players.
- IU Indy is coming off of a 7-7-5 record and third place conference finish last year.
Scouting the Runnin' Bulldogs
- Gardner-Webb was picked to finish third in the Big South Preseason poll.
- Leo Andrade and Max Fisher were named to the all-conference list for the first time.
- This will be the Bulldogs second match in Texas and against an OVC opponent this week, as they take on Houston Christian on Thursday.
