SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team heads to Texas A&M – Corpus Christi for the final regular season game on Wednesday, March 6 at 5 p.m.
 
UIW
	- The Cardinals are in the midst of the longest win streak in Division I program history with seven wins and looking to end the season on a high note before heading to the 2024 Southland Conference Basketball Tournament in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The Cardinals have already broken the DI record for most wins in a season with 19 wins so far this season.
- With a 12-5 SLC record, the Cardinals have locked in the No. 4 spot in the conference standings.
- During the seven-game win streak, UIW has picked up big wins over Southeastern Louisiana and New Orleans last week.
-  In the double-overtime win over UNO, Nina De Leon Negron went off with a career-high 28 points to go along with 15 points against SLU to lead the Cardinals last week.
- Aliyah Collins is the leading scorer with 12.7 points per game with De Leon Negron adding 11.5 per contest.
- De Leon Negron and Destiny Terrell are each pulling down around seven rebounds per game.
- UIW's team defense is ranked No. 27 in NCAA women's basketball, holding opponents to 56.8 points per game.
TAMUCC
	- The Islanders are sitting at No. 2 in the SLC standings with a 13-4 conference record and 20-8 overall.
- Last week, Corpus Christi also faced Southeastern Louisiana and New Orleans, fighting in an overtime victory, 79-73, over the Lions.
- Paige Allen has put up back-to-back doubles and is averaging 9.6 points per game for TAMUCC.
- Center, Alecia Westbrook is the leading scorer with 11.4 points per game and the second leading rebounder in the conference with 7.6 per contest. Nabaweeyah McGill leads the SLC in blocks with 1.5 pr game.
- The Islanders are No. 7 in NCAA for 3-point field goal percentage.
