SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team will hit the road for two games in Louisiana. First, they will take on the McNeese Cowboys on Saturday, February 24, at 4 p.m. CT and then face off against Nicholls Monday night at 5:30 p.m. CT.

SCOUTING THE COWBOYS
- McNeese has won 23 games for the first time in program Division-1 history.
- The Cowboys are giving up a league low, 60 points per game. They are averaging the second most points in the SLC at 80 points per game, only .1 point behind Lamar.
- Shahada Wells has been dominating Southland play and is second in scoring (17.1), assists (4.7), and fourth in field goal percentage at 49 percent.
SCOUTING THE COLONELS
- Nicholls has secured a spot in the Southland Conference Tournament for the fifth year in a row, and still have a shot at the top seed.
- The Colonels have the second most blocks in the SLC, 119, and two players in the top three individually. Jamal West Jr. (45) and Mekhi Collins (27)
- Diante Smith leads the Colonels, and is fifth in the SLC, in points averaging 15.2 ppg.
