SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's volleyball team is set to host two matches this week. On Tuesday the Cardinals host the Huskies at 6 p.m. On Saturday at 12 p.m. SFA and UIW face off in the McDermott Center.

• The Cardinals are 8-6 (1-3) after splitting last week's two conference matches.  

• Risa Sena leads the Cardinals in kills with 148, while hitting .279 percent. Kade Thomas leads the team with 54 blocks. 

• Calissa Allison is in the top five in kills (105) assists (266), aces (13), and digs (153) for UIW. 

• UIW was selected to finish eighth in the Southland Conference preseason poll but sits in eleventh place.  

Scouting the Huskies 

• HCU enters the week 5-10 (2-2) on the year after dropping two conference matches last week.  

• Audrey Pearce leads the Huskies in kills with 183. Pearce also leads the team in blocks with 72.  

• HCU sits in sixth place in the conference standings with a 2-2 conference record.  

Scouting the Ladyjacks 

• SFA enters the contest 12-5 (4-0) on the year after sweeping last week's conference matchups. The Ladyjacks enter the week on a seven-match winning streak.  

• Isabella Ortiz leads the team in kills with 147. Ortiz is second on the team in blocks (58) and fourth in aces (9).  

• The Ladyjacks sit in second place in the conference standings with a 4-0 conference record.
