SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team will continue its road trip this week with a game first on the road in Natchitoches Louisiana to face Northwestern State on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT. The Cards will then travel back to Texas to take on Texas A&M – Commerce Monday January 15, at 1 p.m. CT.

- Northwestern Sate has one returning letter winner on their team from last season, 13 student-athletes left the team.
SCOUTING THE LIONS
- Commerce has dropped their first two Southland games this season, it's their worst start in conference play since going 0-4 in 2011-12 season.
- Jerome Brewer Jr. scored a career-high 32 points last weekend against McNeese.
- Brewer has also made noise on the defensive end, racking up 23 blocks and 16 steals this season.
