Box Score SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team tied against the Trinity Tigers on Monday night.
The first half was a close one, the stats between both teams were virtually identical except for the shots category. UIW was able to get eight shots though the first 45, but none were on goal. The Tigers only took two shots, but both were on goal, and one was converted to give Trinity an early lead.
The second half was just as close as the first. The Cardinals continued to put pressure on the Tigers taking 11 shots in the half, six of which were on goal.

Will Ansah made a run-on goal and was fouled in the box.
Miles Merritt stepped up and converted the penalty to tie the game.
Each team had chances to take the lead, both nearly missing the goal on several occasions in the final minutes of the match. However, after 90 minutes the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
