SAN ANTONIO - The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team will travel to Natchitoches to face Northwestern State in the last regular season game for the 2022-23 season. While the Demons will be on the hunt for a tournament berth, the Cardinals have already secured their spot to head to Lake Charles, however, a win over NSU will hand UIW a No. 4 seed.  
THE LAST TIME THEY MET 
	- 
	UIW beat the Demons with a score of 67-58 after a monstrous fourth quarter performance.  
- 
	Junior Brenna Perez led UIW in scoring with 16 points, going 6-for-11 from the field and a perfect 1-for-1 from beyond the arc.  
UIW 
	- 
	The Cardinals are red hot coming into the matchup on a five-game win streak.  
- 
	De Leon Negron is still leading the team, scoring an average of 11.9 points a game. In addition, she's also averaging 3.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists, which she's second in the conference for.  
- 
	UIW's defense still proves to be its specialty, holding teams to 58 points per game.   
DEMONS 
	- 
	Sitting at 11-16 this season and 7-10 in conference play, Northwestern State needs a win to clinch a spot in the SLC tournament.   
- 
	Senior Candice Parramore continues to lead the charge for the Demons averaging 13.4 points per game which makes her the sixth best scorer in the conference.  
- 
	The Demons favor shots beyond the arc as they average around 6.4 3- pointers made a game to give them a total of 172 made on the year.
