SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team hosts a pair of games against Northwestern State University (NSU) on Thursday, Feb. 17, at 5:30 p.m. CT and Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m. at the McDermott Center.

• The Cardinals and Demons last met on Jan. 27, 2022. UIW is 6-4 in the series history.
• UIW faced SLU on Jan. 29, 2022. The Cardinals are 5-4 in the series history.

 
UIW

• The Cardinals are 7-13 overall and 3-6 in Southland Conference (SLC) play.
• Jaaucklyn Moore is averaging 17.7 points per contest for UIW putting her at 63^rd in the nation for points per game.
• Destiny Terrell is the leading the team in rebounds with 5.3 per game and is the second-leading scorer with 7.5 points per game.

 
NSU

• The Demons are 10-10 overall and 3-6 in SLC play, coming off a 90-72 win over McNeese.
• Candice Parramore (13.2) and Monette Bolden (12.4) lead the team in scoring.
• Jordan Todd is averaging 8.3 rebounds per contest.

 
SLU

• The Lions sit at No. 1 in the SLC standings with an overall record of 12-7 and a conference record of 8-1.
• SLU is coming off its first conference loss of the season, falling to HBU, 51-40.
• Caitlyn Williams and Morgan Carrier are each averaging eight points per game. Williams is the leading rebounder with 8.3 per contest.
