SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team went one-and-one on the week after defeating Dallas Christian College, 112-64, on Wednesday night before falling to Grambling State, 39-72, on Saturday afternoon.
The Cardinals scored over 100 points for the first time since 2019 in their dominant win over Dallas Christian. Trey Miller (19) and Jonathan Cisse (17) once again led the team in scoring. However, every UIW student-athlete who entered the game on Wednesday night scored as the Cardinals cruised to the 112-64 victory.
Later in the week, UIW traveled to Louisiana to take on Grambling State for the second time this season. After falling behind early, the Cardinals were not able to get the lead at any point during the game ultimately losing to the Tigers 39-72.
UIW will be off until next Sunday, December 11 in Manhattan Kansas for a matchup against Kansas State.
