Football Looks to Win Back-to-Back Southland Conference Championships

SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word football team will travel to Louisiana for the final game of the regular season against the Northwestern State Demons on Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. The Cardinals will not only be playing for a piece of the Southland Conference title, but also for a first-round bye in the FCS playoffs.

If Southeastern Louisiana loses its game to Nicholls Thursday night, this game will be for the outright Southland Conference Championship, if they win, the Cardinals will still have a shot at being named co-champions with a win over Northwestern State.
