SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball program travels to Louisiana for a pair of Southland Conference (SLC) road games at Northwestern State University (NSU) on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 5:30 p.m. CT and Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) on Saturday, Jan. 29, at 1 p.m.
THE LAST TIME THEY MET
- The Cardinals and Demons last met on Feb. 10, 2021. UIW is leading the series history, 5-4.
- UIW leads the series history, 5-3, over SLU. The two teams last met on Feb. 8, 2020.

NSU
- NSU is 9-5 on the season and 2-1 in SLC play after a 75-47 victory over New Orleans.
- The Demons have three student-athletes averaging double figures. Candice Parramore (13.4), Monette Bolden (12.9) and Jiselle Woodson (10.2) lead NSU in scoring.
- Jordan Todd leads the team in rebounds with 8.9 per contest.
SLU
- The Lions are 3-0 in the SLC and 7-6 overall, coming off a 76-58 win over Nicholls.
- Hailey Giaratano and Morgan Davis each average eight points per game for SLU.
- Caitlyn Williams leads the team in rebounds with 7.5 per contest.
