SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team hosts North American University (NAU) on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m. CT. The Cardinals then travel to Fort Worth, Texas, on Sunday, Dec. 19, to face TCU.
 
THE LAST TIME THEY MET

• This is the first time UIW will face the Stallions of North American University.
• The TCU Horned Frogs are 2-0 in the series history. The last time the two teams met was on Nov. 25, 2020.

 
UIW

• The Cardinals are 3-4 on the season.
• Following a career-high 30-point performance against the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), Jaaucklyn Moore continues to lead UIW, averaging 18.3 points per game.
• Destiny Jenkins leads the Cardinal defense with 21 steals on the season, averaging 3.6 per game.
• Destiny Terrell is contributing 5.1 rebounds per game and Chloe Storer has 16 assists on the season.

 
NAU

• The Stallions remain winless on the season.
• NAU is coming off a 99-51 loss to Tyler Junior College.

 
TCU

• The Horned Frogs are 4-4 on the season following an upset victory, 87-75, over No. 18 Texas A&M University.
• Lauren Heard is TCU's leading scorer, averaging 18.4 points per game and 7.5 rebounds.
• Okako Adika and Yummy Morris are contributing eight points per game for the Frogs.

The Cardinals will be back at the McDermott Center on Wednesday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. against Tarleton State.
