EDINBURG, Texas – The University of the Incarnate word women's basketball team travels to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) for a 1 p.m. tipoff on Saturday, Dec. 11.
 
THE LAST TIME THEY MET

• The Vaqueros are 3-0 over the Cardinals in the series history.
• The two teams last met on Dec. 17, 2015.

 
UIW

• The Cardinals secured wins over Western Illinois (Nov. 29) and Schreiner (Dec. 4) last week to bring their season record to 3-3.
• Jaaucklyn Moore continues to lead UIW in scoring, averaging 16.3 points per game.
• Destiny Jenkins is currently ranked third in NCAA DI for steals per game with 4.2.
• Destiny Terrell leads UIW in rebounds, contributing six per game.

 
UTRGV

• The Vaqueros are 2-5 on the season with wins over McNeese State and Houston Baptist.
• Sara Bershers leads UTRGV with 16.8 points per game.
• Taylor Muff follows, contributing 12.1 points per game. She leads the team in rebounds with 7.6 per game.
