SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team hosts the UIW Thanksgiving Invitational starting on Friday, Nov. 26, and running through Sunday, Nov.28. Southeast Missouri State (SEMO), Montana State and the University of Portland will be competing against the Cardinals.
 
UIW

• UIW heads into the tournament 0-4 on the season.
• Josh Morgan and Johnny Hughes III have been key contributors for the Cardinals. 
• Morgan leads UIW in scoring, averaging 17.5 points per game. He is shooting 56 percent from behind the arc.
• Hughes scored a career-high 20 points and added nine rebounds in UIW's last game against Texas Tech. He leads the team in rebounds, averaging six a game.

 
Southeast Missouri State

• SEMO is 2-2 on the season with wins over Missouri Baptist and Missouri State.
• Eric Reed Jr. leads the Redhawks in scoring with 14.8 points per game.
• Nygal Russell averages eight rebounds a game.

 
Montana State

• The Bobcats are 1-3 on the season following a win over Rocky Mountain.
• MSU has three student-athletes averaging double figures.  
• Jubrile Belo leads the team with 16.3 points per game, while Abdul Mohamed and Tyler Patterson each contribute 11 points per game.

 
University of Portland

• The Pilots are 4-1 on the season with Arizona State being the only team to hand them a loss.
• Tyler Robertson averages 17 points per game for Portland, while Moses Wood averages 15 points per game. Chris Austin is contributing 14 points per contest.
