CONWAY, Ark. – The University of the Incarnate Word softball team fell, 9-1, in its series finale against Central Arkansas on Sunday afternoon.
After a scoreless first inning, Central Arkansas jumped out to a 4-0 lead as the Bears hit a RBI single, stole home and topped the second inning off with a two-run home run. The Bears then added four more runs in the bottom of third frame, extending their advantage to 8-0.

Teanna Lucio singled to bring home
Maddie Boldt, cutting Central Arkansas' lead to 8-1. The Bears took advantage of a bases loaded situation in the bottom of the fifth, singling to drive in a run and take a 9-1 victory.
UP NEXT
The Cardinals return home to host North Texas on Monday. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. (CT) at H-E-B Field.
