Box Score UIW falls short in four-set match against UNCG
ARLINGTON, TEXAS – The University of the Incarnate Word volleyball team finished the Maverick Classic 1-2 after a hard, four-set fight against the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The Cardinals' overall record is 2-4.

SET 3 & 4 (25-23; 23-25) |Â UIW was a powerhouse in the front row to win the third set. The team produced 19 kills, with six kills from Taylor and five from Clapp. Gonzaba had 13 assists. In set four, the Cardinals kept the game close with 13 ties, but UNCG secured the win. Carlin helped in the back row with six digs and Clapp led the team in kills with three.
