BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team continues their California weekend stint with a Sunday matinee matchup against California State University Bakersfield. The game is set to begin at 2 p.m. CT.

CARDINALS IN THE WEST COAST
The Cardinals enter Sunday after a tough 1-0 loss against California Baptist (Sept. 13). In this match UIW looked for scoring opportunities of the seven total corner kicks, but were unable to net any.
SLATING CSU BAKERSFIELD
The Roadrunners come into Sunday's match off an exhaustive 2OT 1-1 draw against California State University, Northridge (Sept. 13). CSU Bakersfield (3-3-1) went through 110 minutes to put off 12 shots (six on goal) with three corner kicks. Roadrunner goalkeeper Andrea Neves contributed five saves in the net, while allowing one goal.
