HOUSTON -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team is set to play Texas Southern University on Sunday at 1 p.m. (CT) at Alexander Durley Stadium in Houston, Texas.


SLATING TEXAS SOUTHERN

The Lady Tigers are coming into this weekend off of a 9-0 loss after facing SMU on Aug. 29. They hold a pre-SLC play standing of 0-3.


UIW CARDINALS

The Cardinals play game two of the weekend in Houston, looking for a win after a tough 3-1 loss on Friday night against University of Houston. UIW has upped their aggressiveness on offense, and will look to this in order to net the ball.


UP NEXT
The Cardinals come home to Benson Stadium for a two game homestand. UIW's first home game of the season is against Prairie View A&M on Sept. 6, then host North Texas on Sept. 8.
