HEAR FROM HEAD COACH SAMANTHA DABBS-THOMAS

About the win…
"Today was a great day. We won the serving and passing battle against ULL and stayed consistent. We ran a spread offense because of our good passing. We were down the first set but came back and from then on never lost the lead. That's a great job by my players."

About the loss…
"Tulane is a big physical team and runs a very fast offense in the middle. We fell short every set being able to slow their offense down. But we played hard and fought until the end. I'm proud of them after today and growth."

About next match…
"Going into UTEP we know that they are going to do some different things offensively and that we need to just win the serving and passing battle, stay consistent and fight until the end."

HEAR FROM JUNIOR DS/L ALYSSA CARLIN

About making it in the Cardinal record book…
"Earning a spot in the record book is definitely a great and humbling accomplishment. I wouldn't be able to reach these goals without my amazing teammates and coaches who constantly support me and motivate me to be the best teammate and player that I can be. I look forward to keep working hard and hopefully achieving more milestones like these."

About mindset for UTEP…
"Our mindset going against UTEP tomorrow is to take the energy that we had today to start off strong and play our game. We are excited for the competition and ready to finish the tournament on a strong note."
