HOW IT HAPPENED
The game was scoreless through the first three innings before Lucio put the Cardinals on the board by advancing from third to home on a wild pitch. Hoffman notched a sacrifice fly later in the inning to open up a 2-0 lead for UIW. In the bottom of the sixth, UTSA scored its first runs of the game off a two-run homer that just scraped its way past Lucio's outstretched glove in left-center field and over the wall to tie the game up. Then, in the bottom of the seventh, the Roadrunners hit another two-run home run to win the game in walk-off fashion, 4-2.
