Cardinals fall to SFA in series finale

SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word softball team dropped the series finale against the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks on Saturday, losing by a score of 7-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
SFA got on the board early with a run in the first and two more in the third. The Ladyjacks scored a run in each of the fifth and sixth innings and added two more in the top of the seventh to ensure a 7-0 victory.

UP NEXT
UIW heads to Houston on Thursday for a conference series against Houston Baptist. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. (CT).
