SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's tennis team is slated to host the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) on Sunday at 10 a.m. (CT) at the Mabry Tennis Center.
THE CARDINALS
UIW is 5-3 overall after a dominating, 7-0 victory over Trinity on Friday at the San Antonio Country Club. Playing in the No. 1 spot,
Sebastian Mortier took a double-bagel with a commanding, 6-0, 6-0 victory.
SCOUTING UTRGV
UTRGV is 2-11 overall after falling, 2-5, to Laredo CC on Feb. 28. Prior to that dual, the Vaqueros fell in three dual contests at the H-E-B Tournament of Champions (UTSA 0-4, DePaul 2-4, New Mexico State 3-4) from Feb. 22-23.
