SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word football team hits the road following a three-game home stand, traveling to Stephen F. Austin on Saturday for a 4 p.m. (CT) matchup with the Lumberjacks.

SERIES HISTORY
- The Cardinals are 1-4 overall against SFA.
- UIW's lone win came in the form of a 31-7 victory on Sept. 15, 2018, in Benson Stadium.

THE CARDINALS (5-4, 4-3 SLC)
- Jon Copeland had another 300-yard passing night against No. 24/25 Nicholls on Nov. 2. The sophomore QB went 34-for-55 with no interceptions and 381 yards through the air. This is his fourth 300-plus yard game this season, and the ninth of his career.
- Copeland has thrown for 2,473 yards this season. He needs 512 yards through the air to break the all-time single season passing record.
- Carson Mohr had his best game of the season against the Colonels, going 3-3 on field goal attempts. The last time a UIW kicker had three field goals in a game was Oct. 7, 2017, when Jose Perez made three against SLU.
- The Cardinals have forced at least one turnover in 21 consecutive games, dating back to the 2017 season.
- UIW leads not only the FCS, but all Division I football with 27 forced turnovers. The Cardinals also lead the FCS with 16 interceptions (one behind FBS Oregon's 17 interceptions).

SCOUTING STEPHEN F. AUSTIN (1-8, 1-5 SLC)
- The Lumberjacks are 1-8 overall and hold a 1-5 Southland Conference record following a 47-30 loss at Southeastern Louisiana on Nov. 2.
- Trae Self leads SFA, completing 197-of-368 passes for 2,373 yards. He has accumulated 11 touchdowns and thrown 10 interceptions.
- Stephen F. Austin ranks fourth in the league with just six fumbles lost.
