THIBODAUX, La. – The University of the Incarnate Word volleyball team hits the road again, this time traveling to Nicholls for a 10 a.m. (CT) contest on Saturday.

THE CARDINALS
- UIW is 4-15 overall with a 0-5 mark in Southland Conference action after falling, 3-0, at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Tuesday.
- Julia Monday had her eighth double-digit kill match of the season against the Islanders, posting 13 kills. Monday ranks second on the team with 179 kills.
- Alyssa Carlin leads UIW with 251 digs, while Carissa McGarity has a team-best 56 blocks.

THE COLONELS
- Nicholls holds a 9-7 overall mark and a 3-2 record in SLC action after a 3-1 victory over Abilene Christian on Thursday night.
- Katie Jones has a team-high 164 kills, while Emily Gauthreaux follows with 162 kills.
- Five Colonels have over 100 kills this season. In addition to Jones and Gauthreaux, Aaliyah Burras has 141, Kate Hoerdemann has 127 and Jackie Alanis has 107.
